SafetyRegsLogger

Welcome — and thank you for your purchase.

OSHA 300, 300A & 301 recordkeeping, without the paper chase.

You’ve made a great choice.

SafetyRegsLogger keeps your OSHA injury & illness log (Form 300), builds your annual summary (Form 300A) automatically, and produces bilingual incident reports (Form 301) — all on your own device, with nothing sent to any server. This short guide gets you set up in a few minutes. Keep it handy; you can print it with Ctrl/Cmd + P.

Your Purchase at a Glance

What you boughtA perpetual license for Version 1 of SafetyRegsLogger™ — a one-time purchase, not a subscription. No monthly fees, no per-seat fees, no accounts.
Your License KeyA short code from your purchase confirmation email. Enter it once per device and your browser remembers it from then on. There are no usernames or passwords.
Where it runsAny modern web browser at safetyregslogger.com. Use it on every device at your establishment.
Where your data livesIn your browser, on that device only. We never receive it. Back it up to a JSON file often (see below).

Getting Started in 3 Simple Steps

1Open the appRight after checkout, Stripe brings you straight to the app with access already granted — nothing to type. On any new device later, go to safetyregslogger.com, click “Already purchased? Enter your License Key” at the top, type your key once, and you’re in. No password needed; your browser remembers you on every return visit.
2Bookmark the appOnce inside, bookmark safetyregslogger.com/app.html on every device you use. That’s your home base. You can also add it to your home screen or desktop (see “Install” below) so it opens like a normal app.
3Log a test case, then back it upOpen the Form 300 tab and enter one practice case. Watch the 300A totals and the live TRIR / DART figures update automatically. Then use Backup to save a JSON copy of your records. Make backing up a habit — it’s how your data moves between devices and stays safe.

Important — Each Device Keeps Its Own Records

SafetyRegsLogger stores your records in the browser on each device, separately. That’s what keeps your data private and off the cloud — but it also means a case you enter on the shop office PC won’t automatically appear on a tablet unless you move it there.

To keep one device as your system of record (recommended for most single-location shops): do your logging on that one device, and use Backup to save a JSON file for safekeeping. If you want the same records on a second device, use Restore there to load the backup file. Whichever device you certify and post your 300A from is your official copy.

How to Install on Each Device

SafetyRegsLogger runs in your web browser — there’s nothing to download from an app store. You can optionally “install” it to your home screen or desktop so it opens like an app. Do this once per device.

iPhone / iPad
(Apple mobile)
Open Safari and go to safetyregslogger.com/app.html. Enter your License Key once. To add it to your home screen: tap the Share button (the square with an up-arrow) → scroll down → tap Add to Home ScreenAdd. An icon appears and opens the app full-screen.
Android phone
/ tablet
Open Chrome and go to safetyregslogger.com/app.html. Enter your License Key once. Tap the ⋮ menu (three dots, top-right) → Add to Home screenAdd. The icon lands on your home screen.
Windows PC
/ laptop
Open Chrome or Microsoft Edge and go to safetyregslogger.com/app.html. Enter your License Key once. Look for an install icon in the address bar, or use the ⋮ menu → Save and share → Install page as app (Edge: Apps → Install this site as an app). It then opens in its own window.
Any other device
(Chromebook, Linux, etc.)
Any device with a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox) works. Go to safetyregslogger.com/app.html, enter your License Key once, and bookmark it. Look for an “Install” or “Add to Home screen” option in your browser’s menu if you want an app-style icon.
You don’t have to install itInstalling to your home screen is optional — it just makes the app quicker to reach. At minimum, bookmark safetyregslogger.com/app.html on each device. Remember: your records stay on whichever device you enter them.

Your Three Forms — What Each One Does

Form 300The Log of Work-Related Injuries & Illnesses. Record each recordable case once here — date, job title, where it happened, a short description, and its classification (days away, restricted/transfer, or other recordable), plus day counts.
Form 300AThe Summary of Work-Related Injuries & Illnesses. Totals calculate automatically from your 300 log. This is the form you certify and post at your establishment from February 1 to April 30 each year.
Form 301The Injury & Illness Incident Report — one per case, with more detail. Field labels carry English and Spanish (EN/ES) so the supervisor closest to the incident can complete it accurately.
Live TRIR / DARTYour Total Recordable Incident Rate and Days Away/Restricted/Transfer rate calculate as you log — the same numbers your customers’ prequalification questionnaires ask for.

Backing Up & Year-End Archiving

Because your records live on your device, backups are your safety net. The app reminds you to back up to JSON after changes — take it up on that.

A quick reminder: SafetyRegsLogger is a recordkeeping tool, not a compliance program, and nothing here is legal advice. Determining recordability, certifying and posting the 300A, retaining records, and any electronic submission to OSHA remain the employer’s responsibility. State-plan states (for example, California) may differ.
